Teak Sundeck

My padded sundeck (padded area behind rear seat) is shot. I tends to hold water and weighs a ton :(

I am thinking of replacing it with a hinged teak insert.

Does anyone have an early model Supra with a wooden sundeck? Any pics you can post?

Is Teak cost prohibitive? Is Mahagony OK?

After your post I checked locally and the Teak is $31.50 a board ft. UGH!
They suggested Aroco @ $11 per foot or Mahagony @ $6 per foot.

I'll check on the Brazilizn wood when I go to the lumber company.
