Hey Salty,
I did end up getting one of those water seperating fuel filters along with a new rotor and cap. I've only had the chance to run it for about a half hour so far, but it ran fantastic during that time..
I wanted to thank you for taking your time to point me in the right direction..
I ended up getting mine off of ebay and saved 7 or 8 dollars and it seems to work great.
