The IL reg is good until June 2013 I am not in any hurry to change . The other boat is expired June 2012 it will have GA reg this spring.

I CAN NOT wait for summer, I'm only two months away from my annual dewinterization day and I hope I can keep up the 5 year tradition of dewinterizing on St. Patty's Day.

That pic was actually taken in South Carolina (actually right in the corner of S. Carolina, N. Carolina, and Ga). Lake Jocassee has at least 5 waterfalls like that one and we enjoy hiking them all. Both of the boats in the background are Supra. One is mine and the other is a buddy's Legacy.

I've got the spring time itch too, but I'm not quite ready yet. My motor is in a million pieces it seems. I'm in the middle of a slight motor refresh, rudder rebuild, mild fiberglass work, etc. Give me another month and I'll be ready to hit the water.

We come up your way a lot too. I'm a Railroad Contractor and General Contractor so I'm up there very often with work and we snowboard @ Winter Place and Snow Shoe.

Its a bit of a hassle to get the boards off my racks not so much because of the bimini they dont pivot. The bimini is a close out from IBoats it had to be modified to fit. I didn't spent much time on it so it must be removed to tow any distance. I live 1/10 of a mile from the ramp and store in a pole barn so I never have to take it down.

While there's lots of pretty things to admire in those photos, I really like the one of you(?) sitting on the dock with your daughter, and the one of the two little girls enjoying summer. Having family time on the water is something that cannot be easily replicated through other activities.

I agree the family time on the water is priceless and we have countless photos. However, reading news headlines on a day-to-day basis makes me hesitate before posting any pics of my daughter.

That was my exact thoughts. The guy on the dock and myself look alot alike too. The pictures above are taken from local areas around here. Mitchells bay (Lake St Claire )and skiers bay .(mouth of lake Erie on the Detoit river)

Here are two pics from this past summer. One of just the boat hanging off the buoy and then the other is the whole family coming together to enjoy family time on the boat and for that, there truly is no price tag you can put on that.

With the stern light on it has the feeling of either early morning to get started on a day of skiing, or late evening after a full day at it. Either way, it looks like "summer fun."

Hopefully I can at least manage the throttle so that anyone who needs a pull can get one...:D

Look at it this way Ben - driving the boat is better than most things you could be doing, including wakeboarding in my case 'cause my body doesn't work the way it used to! Hopefully you have someone that can help you get it on and off the trailer.

I'm with you Clint. I skied behind my boat once last year (and we went out 20 times). And I was perfectly happy with that. I enjoy seeing my kids and friends getting to ski, and my biggest pleasure is just being on the lake with them. I'm the full-time boat driver and I like it that way.

Jetlink, in July I fractured a ligament in my foot and was/am out of commission, including my senior year collegiate ski season. BUT, I still took my boat out and gave my friends pulls all the time and you still get a lot of satisfaction out of just being in the boat and enjoying the water.

Yeah that was at Texoma Memorial Weekend. That was in one arm of the lake that wasn't even out in the wide open. It was really windy that weekend. About all we were able to do was surf...we got a little wake boarding in one evening and one morning.
