How do you disconnect the prop shaft from the coupling at the transmission, Do I need special tools, Or?
Thanks in advance for the insight.

un bolt the couplers and put a socket between the couplers that is a smaller ID as the shaft , remove set screws and lube holes with WD-40 and

re install bolts , and tighten to pull the coupler and push the shaft out ..

use heat if it is a bugger ..

dont use hammers or bang on the couplers
