1986 Supra Sunsport

I am sorry to make another thread, but found another Supra. 1986 Supra Sunsport with Only 416 hours! 19' 351 V8 inboard. Very clean boat. My question is I was looking at this and a TSM6. I do more wakeboarding and tubing and such. Wondering if this is a better boat and a decent price. Priced at around $4500. This boat seems to be a little deeper and our lake is only about 7ft deep. Any information is greatly appreciated.

This will be a good wakeboard boat if the stringers and floor aren't junk. If they are -- that price might be a tad high as it will need significant time/money to be safe.

Also -- I believe that the silver windshield is rare. Must be a carry-over from the earlier models??

Sweet boat . The sunsport will be much better at wake boarding . The free board is much higher and it will handle ballast better. Both will be fine in 7' water The TSM6 is a great ski boat

Both are wood constructed boats so watch the floor and stringers for rot . The Supra will be better in every way except slalom skiing.

Except for slalom skiing !! Wooo that comment could start a big debate.....I think the comment was in regards to the Sun Sport...the Supra Comp is the premiere slalom boat in my opinion, I love skiing behind my boat.

Absolutely The Sunsport will be better for wake boarding and surfing [With a lot of ballast] it will also carry more passengers. Not to throw stones at the Comp and Nautique both are world class slalom boats They are corvettes on water .I would take the comp over the 1980 Nautique .
