What rub rail should i get ?

Hey guys , i'm about to buy the rub rail for the 86 sunsport , I have been looking at taco marine and all there selections , but whats gonna work ? straight edge
with rope insert ? some of you have installed new ones what did you get ?

I did about the same. I just had Jim @ Viper send me what I needed for the stainless. The only real price difference was about $30 more in stainless hardware and an extra $70ish in shipping, if I recall correctly.

But.... it looks MUCH nicer!

The rubber or plastic material is also available in some colors. Mine is grey with a stainless insert while Dan's is black with stainless insert. Either way, I love the look. Definitely worth a little extra!

Call Jim at Viper customs. Tell him you have a Sunsport and want the rub rail with stainless insert like the one he put on Clint's boat. He will know how much to send you. Don't forget you can get the rubber in grey or black. 865-388-4096
