Daff, too funny... It's a Yukon Denali XL... Has a gas engine in it for now, the 6.0 but I might swap in a duramax later on. Not sure how many projects I want or can tackle at once. Like I said though, pics to follow once I pick it up.

I think you will really like that 6.0! I know I love mine, mounted in a 3/4 ton Suburban it pulls the boat fine!

Here are two pics I snapped real quick after bringing it home. Going to go through it and clean it up real good, detail the interior and exterior and then start tinkering a little.

Nice! I enjoyed my 6.0 and it pulled without any issues. A duramax swap?!? Thats one hell of a project!

This truck has been babied. All it has done since 2003 is make the occasional run from the western suburbs of Chicago to just west of Madison Wisconsin for a few years and for the past four years, it only pulled an airplane out of the hangar once or twice a year, hence the hitch on the front below the license plate. Couldn't be happier so far but then again, I haven't had to visit a gas station yet. :D

It's just under 80K miles, tan leather interior, sun roof, big drop down LCD that is hooked to a DVD player. The guy I bought it off of is a student/customer of mine that runs an auto yard. He got it back in '03 and used it to drive to his lake place when he couldn't fly there... Now, he has since upgraded planes and doesn't need to do the drive at all anymore. And that is how it ended up with us.

Oh, no fuel management on this model year, but it is averaging 19-20 on the highway just in the last two days.

You might want to set down the first time you fill it up.

I have a 99gmc with the 6.0l that has over 320,00 miles on it still runs great towes like a champ.

I used to run a snow plow company and we ran 3/4 ton Chevy trucks with the 6.0 and 4.10 ratio rear end... Needless to say, I am very familiar with the cost of a fill up. I am hoping that when I tow I get better than the 6-8MPG we averaged on the plow trucks.
