Where is the screen for the raw water intake... I cant seem to find it?? Can someone tell me step by step lol or take a pic?? I have a 2002 22SSV.... I want to make sure I have no debris in it!

The screen is between your intake at the bottom of the hull and your vdrive. Usually beside the vdrive. You probably don't have one as it is quite obvious. There is no screen in the tranny cooler but it is honey combed inside and can trap debris, impeller bits etc.

Some dont have them but its the size of a big beer can behind eng on the left. Mine does not have one so if you cant find it you may not have one??

also called a sea strainer. cheap and nice peace of mind. i've seen them get clogged up.

Mine deff don't have the big strainer.. But where is the honey comb thing? Is it actually in the tranny cooler hose or the engine hose?

If you look inside the tranny cooler just after the impeller on post 2000 boats , before on pre 2000 boats or so you will see what I mean.
