Hey guys, footing is one of the many water sports I enjoy, and I was wondering if anyone else on here does it? Post up some photos, videos, etc of your talents or lack-thereof!

I've also got some questions... when I first had my Sunsport, I had a 13x13 on it and I could get right around 40 mph top end. I did some deep-water starts back then and got it to work, but I would have preferred faster speeds, because it dipped down to around 37 when I would drop my feet in the water. Since then, I've switched to the new Acme #543 prop which is 13x11.5. I switched to this so that I could push a loaded down boat for wakeboarding and wakesurfing more efficiently. This was also a result of hitting a log with my 13x13, trading it in for a spare 13x12 and then buying the 13x11.5. So now my current prop and spare prop both aren't capable of providing me with the speed I need to make it happen. SO, any ideas on how I could get back to the speed I need. I've searched for 13x14 props but I don't think they exist. If I were to get my hands on a 13x13 again, are there any other ways I could squeeze more speed out of the boat?

Hey Chris, not sure if he has any pics or video but Foxriverat has been known to foot every once in awhile. Rumor has it that after he got the wake dialed in better behind his comp last year that he's been working out to get in shape for this season. I ski with him during the week when time allows so look for some footage once he gets his boat in the water around the first week of May.

Barefooting. Tried it once. Wrecked my ass pretty hard. Decided to stick to surfing.

I barefooted once and was killing it. Doing awesome and crossing the wake both ways. Just thought I was awesome, but quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing. Wiped really hard and thought I broke my back. Worst pain I have ever been in. Back to surfing and boarding. Ha ha....
I have some friends out here that barefoot and even do barefoot pyramids. They were recruiting my wife for the top of the pyramid and after my wipe out, I had to increase her life insurance or tell her to she could not do it. I did both!

I would 'foot with some with the Kwahamots in northern Wisconsin in my youth. Now its an occasional thing and my friends work me up to it. I always carry the boom in the boat so it's easy to put on and step out.

My group are all in there mid 50s. I think every one that owns a comp has at least one or two crazy friends that do this. I just drive the boat. And like the Toby Keith song says where is good once as we ever were . O and by the way that is a comp wake. 9300930193029303

Put him on a boom while sitting on a kneeboard or a surfboard. Depending on his weight you may be able to get up to 20mph before the board starts porpoising, plant the feet then put the hammer down. When he stands up the board gets left behind. You can run at a much lower speed on boom. I'm 200lbs and can stand up on a boom at 35mph.
