There is no muffler between the supertraps and the manifolds on an 87. Believe me I have my entire floor ripped out right now. lol.

Do the supertrapps quiet down the boat any? I have an '89 Comp, and I'm trying to find a cheap way to reduce the exhaust noise.

the traps help a good bit over a straight pipe but not really a muffler

supracomp- do you have pics? my leak has gotten to the point of exploratory cutting. i'd like to see what i'm going to be cutting into.

I am currently documenting all of my efforts in my restoration. I will have pics posted eventually, but probably not for a couple of weeks or so. I know a lot of people have done this but not many have taken pics so I hope my pain in the ass will eventually help some other people undergo this task of a full restoration

I'll be looking forward to the info & pics as I'll be diving into mine soon too.

So...how tough was it to seperate the deck from the hull? Is most of what I need to get at right under the rub rail & dash? Never done one before.
