hello guys ! I want to weld up a stainless wake plate for the sunsport

can you give me detail measurements of the stock plate ?

length x with x Dia thickness ?

Are you talking about the cavitation plate? If so I have mine off right no and could easily measure it for you.

trim tab , it mounts to the rear .. supra had an original design that mounted under the transom with manual adjustment turn down knobs that flexed the plate to trim the bow
down and in turn shape the wake for a more crisp topside ... i dont know if they called it a cavitation plate or not ... it looks like a wide trim tab to me ...??

L X W X H = 24" X 11.5" X .75" Mines out of aluminum and is 3/16" thick the holes for the bars are 4" in form the sides 1.5" in from the back.

Thanks man ! How much does this flex ? Cause I plan to put a hindge on mine but I don't want to burry the bow I just want to
Shape the wake and get ride of the wash ... ? Any ideas

Don't know I haven't had it on the water yet... the manual says not to adjust more than 1/2" above level... however the reason I took mine off wasn't just to sand, I too am going to put a hinge on it. Do you need that measurement too?

no i think i got what i need , the old drill holes are still on my lower transom so ill just trace up a template .. ill proly make it 24x12x3/16 and run with that ..

Me either bud ! I just ordered new steering today , and I have to sand the bottom tomorrow and take it to paint ..
I have all my parts to put it back together just have to wait fir it to come back from paint ...

while you're at it...lol, might as well go hydraulic on that plate. someone was working on that in the mod's section i think. they cut the plate in 2 for l/r balance. not sure what the result was.
