First year of 24'?

New to the forum and was looking for a new boat and I was curious what year was the first 24' supra was built,model,issues etc. I live on a bay that will pick up chop in the afternoon and wanted someting a little largers with higher gunnels and a closed bow. Please chime in, this is a boat that will be in the salt water so a older boat is a-ok. Thanks!

2005 I believe for the 24.

You aren't going to find a closed bow wakeboat.

The 24 nose sits kinda low. Supra 21v will have the most freeboard in supra lineup. You may even want to check out moomba mojo

You might consider a Pirata if you are considering an older boat. I believe they are like 23'9 and have a closed bow. I don't know a lot of the history. Haven't even had mine on the water yet. But it sounds like what you are looking for.

The Saltare/Pirata's were 22'8" long. They do seem like a battleship though. I park next to my friends 23LSV and it's right up there in the same size range.

But yeah, I'd look at the 21v for better chop riding. Longer isn't always better.

KG, the 21' has taller freeboards than the 24'?? Really, or do you mean just in the nose?? Man thats shocking.

I would say the freeboard is pretty similar on the 21 and 24, but the 21 definitely has less rake on the nose

Thanks I think a marauder or a pirata will work, I looked at some of the newer boats and im too lazy to polish all the aluminum and bedazzled hardware and its just gonna get thrashed. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Jet, I guess I was referring more to the nose but I wouldn't be surprised if it did have more freeboard. They just sit differently than other supras.

The 20ssv is totally different than the 21v. Not much in common at all, but you were right, it was a surf machine..
