Drew, I used an air stapler I bought on Home Depot's web site. It was only $29 and worked awesome. It just shoots your standard t-55 staples. You want to make sure you get stainless steel staples so they don't rust. I got 3/8" staples at lowes I believe for $11 a pack. Hope that helps. have fun, I wanted to pull my hair out sometimes but it all turned out great. Cody

I also used an air stapler with stainless T-55s. I'd just go to the hardware store and see what they have for stainless staples in the right length for you.... This will probably dictate what stapler you should use.

This is what I have: http://www.amazon.com/Porter-Cable-US58-22-Gauge-C-Crown-Upholstery/dp/B00004SBC3/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1337104543&sr=8-1

works great, but I've never used it on boat stuff - agree need to find stainless staples first. I've put in over 40,000 staples with it doing a home theater install at my home and it's money WELL worth spent to get a good air stapler.
