Lauch vs. SSV

I´m assuming that the Launch and the SSV (2000-2004) have the same hull and will put out the same wake if weighted accordingly. Is this true? I am planning on test driving a Lauch next week to see if I like the wake. If I buy a boat though, it will definitely be a V-drive.

And......if even the wake would be the same, I am willing to bet that there will be a big difference in handleing.

Any input from anyone that has driven these 2 boats or ridden behind them would be greatly appreciated.

THey are not the same hulls. The Launch SS that was discontinued last year had the same hull as the SSV.
