Strainer Location

Just bought a strainer from Skidim. I've seen a picture of one installed next to the vdrive. Is like to know were the popular location is out there for the installation of one?

Mine is on the ballast manifold same area as vdrive

Here are a couple pics, although not that clear, of my setup. Thru hull with ball valve, flush pro, filter, tranny, pump, engine.

I ran mine next to the sensor on the vdrive and made a u with fittings to go back into the vdrive fitting.
