90 sunsport is due for packing in shaft and rudder , Does anyone have a opinion on the best systems for these repairs?

dont let go of the rope!
Talk to skidim, I think they sell just straight replacement units for both of these. Everything I've seen says that is the way to go .

Lots of people talk about how easy it is to reseal and properly set a drive shaft seal. Ive yet to need to do mine but watched a family member repack the seal of his mastercraft 209 and even though the operation went smoothly... well lets just say I dont think mastercraft ever intended that much water to be in one of their boats. That being said, This may be an operation that you may want to consider giving to your dealer.
