SSV floor panel

The other day I tried to remove my floor panels from my 03 Launch. I remove each screw from each corner of both panels but couldn't get either of them to budge. I was wondering if there was a trick to these? I have a gas smell and want to check out my tank.

After removing all the screws, start at the rear by removing the fiberglass v-drive access panel, which will allow you to get under the 1st floor panel and get a good pull on it. Once removing the rear floor panel, you'll have better access to yank the forward of the two floor panels. If its been a good while since the floor was pulled, there's a good possibility there's a bit of crustyness holding those panels down. No big deal, just give em' a good yank.

There's also a screw that's difficult to find sometimes that is on the starboard side of the front panel, set back about 12" so it's not under the drivers seat.

Ok, that was my next idea, removing the vdrive cover and go at it from that end. Thanks.
