'86 Saltare gas tank size?

Does anyone know how big the gas tanks are on a '86 saltare? My gas gauge is not accurate.

When full the gauge shows 3/4 tank. I'm not sure how low it will go, but I fill up when it says 1/8 tank, and at that point it takes around 20 gallons.

'87 is 40 gallons. i always subtract 1/4 tank from whatever the gauge shows, mine only goes to 3/4 when full. and the bottom half of the tank is smaller than the top half.
