I'm betting Michael Hunter has his. As he is one of the few original owners, and is very detailed. I'm hoping he does.

Back in the day The Supras came with a very unique engine key. It was a very large round head, with a Supra logo and wave on it. It was a colored head with a smooth finish, and would fit in the boat's ignition.

I cannot find ours from my old Comp, and want to try to get another one made for the Saltare. That would pretty much clinch my boat in fully restored with original components at that point. I've got the glasses and ice bowl, the manual, and the brochure. All I need is the specialized Key.

Does anyone have theirs? Can you get a couple of pictures for me?

I hate you guys right now, (jealous) lol. I have tried to do research on the Marauder and it's very very scarce. Couple that with my boat sat in a barn for 7+ yrs so original equipment was HAGGARD. My cup holders appear to be original lol. I read somewhere that the twin to my boat is called the "Beast" it came with a 454 instead of the 351. Thanks for the history lesson, learn something new everyday.

NICE Blackntan!!! That's the one. Thanks for the pictures. I'm impressed, you have everything. Very well done!

Not many people know about these keys, we kept ours to our Comp hidden away to keep it pristine, but then my pops lost it. I am trying to find a key maker who can make another one.

You gotta admit, it just looks badass using that for the ignition versus some boring old key.

OK , your not going to fricken believe this. I just googled the original guys name and found his ph and address was still the same. So i picked up the ph and called him and his mom answered and gave me his number. I just called and spoke with him and we had a great laugh together. But sadly he is not a boat owner anymore. Man this was fun!!

Here's my thread jackin heartbreaker.. This winter when my Conbrio was vandalized the Supra center plug was stolen... I now have brass fittings in it's place from the Depot...I am not pleased! I thought by buying it's replacement the original would turn up....Fate has not felt this way...argh.....
Again Hunter kills it with the nicest OEM Supra I've ever seen... That jacket is amazing!!!!!
Great thread Haugy....

Yeah I knew Hunter would knock this one out of the park. Nicely done Mike!

Yeah, it's those little things that make us the die-hards, knowing we miss the "Supra" drain plug, keeping paperwork from 22 years ago, brochures, key floats.

This thread is great, I'll have to take some pictures of my old brochures and glasses. I will continue to see if I can find a key maker to make me a Key like Supra's. If I do, I'll let them know there will be a large group buy.

Jet you got me beat, I purchased mine from the original owner & this is what he gave me: 3-ring Supra binder with all the OEM documents, 6/600 Supra Security plan card, original Kenwood KRC-555 manual & how to install. Trailer: owners manual for the "Surge Brake System", owners manual for "Bearing Buddy Axle End Unit Assemblies", card on "maint & operating of the winch", "how to use the coupler", & several undated photos of Supra parked at his dock tucked in the back of the book. Yet no Supra key either.

Wow, that's amazing stuff. But all this detail to originality has me feeling a bit guilty - Moomba gauges, Mastercraft steering wheel, Gekko rudder, Bayliner cupholders, & a bunch of other modified/bastardized stuff. The only thing that says "SUPRA" is the rubberized logo transfered to the new steering center cap, plus I did keep some teak for a hint of her heritage. Again, I really appreciate & respect those keeping it old school, but needless to say - I got no key...

It’s been 26 years. And now I’m feeling kind of like I got rooked. I still have all the paperwork , two Supra tee shirts. The ex wife took the jacket and the two tone grey Supra string bikini. She look great in it. I didn’t get a fancy key , plaque and this is the first I have heard of a videotape. Please you Gotta get us a copy of your tape.

Do you ever get a key made? I’d also love to have an original style key if anyone has been able to find a place that would make them. Thank you!
