I was thinking after reading about the guys impulse that maybe we could get a sticky reference for models made in the 80's thru mid 90's.? Maybe it could help people that are searching for a boat but don't know the name ect.... They just want a Supra but don't know which direction to go? Their's a lot of knowlege on this board so we should be able to pull that together with maybe yrs of production, engine, trans ect...... What you think? Feel free to add info, I'm not hip on all model info.

Supra 20 Rider-

Supra Beast- 19' 6'' closed bow, Velvet drive 72c Direct Drive with a PCM 454ci- Mid 80's to ?

Supra Marauder- 19'6'' closed bow, Velvet drive 71c Direct Drive with a PCM 351w Mid 80's to ?

It's funny you mention this. I have thought about writing up a detailed description of all the boats, with pictures. Also then including a Pro's/Con's to them so people can compare them, as well as know what to look or watch out for with them.

It would be nice if it could be one big post, and we all have the ability to edit and add to it, like Wiki. That way it all stays in one post. But the guys rocking the Beast know more about them than I would, so I wouldn't be a good source of info for them which is why that would be beneficial.

This was my logic for this thread. I had never heard of an Impulse or a Beast or Marauder til I found mine which led to the discovery of the Beast. When I was looking for a cheap fixer upper boat all I new was I wanted a Supra. This may help people narrow there search like Haugy mentioned. I think on this board Older boats out number newer boats 2:1 or more. This website is rad when it comes to older Supra's and the info provided.

supra put out several brochures in the late 80s early 90's.
One is titled Visionary and shows every model and a over pic of each model.
under general chat look for the topic on "who has the original key--rare rare"
go to page 3 and look at post nubmer 29
I posted there two brochures I have including the "visionary" one.
If you can get your hands on one of those you will see the entier line up at that time.
I will try to post the pic tomorrow.
