Align Steering wheel on 2006 launch 21v

Since the day I have purchased my 2006 21v launch the steering wheel has been horribly un aligned. Can anyone please instruct me on how to straighten it up??? I am sick of feeling like I am making a hard left turn while headed straight! :mad: :mad: Thanks!

Some have done it back taking the wheel off and repositioning. I have personally noted how far off it was, then took the bolts loose that hold the steering cable rack in place, lift it up then turn the steering wheel to proper alignment, then place rack back in place. HTH

Thanks for the info! I am assuming the steering rack is directly under the dashboard??

It is. I just replaced my steering cable and did it the same way. 4 bolts hold the black bar tight. Loosen all 4, take 2 out, leaving a few threads of the other 2 (diagonally). Should be able to lift the bar off the teeth enough to straighten the wheel, then tighten them back up. I believe they are 1/2 or 7/16" socket.
