What degree thermostat should i use in my 1986 Supra 351 Cleavland motor? Stopped at the auto part store and they recommended a 190. From what I have read, it sounds like I should be using a 145.

I've never heard of Supra using Cleveland's - stock motor in an 86 should be a 351 Windsor or 454?

I have an 86 351 PCM, I picked up a 160* stat from NAPA. Double check me, but I am 90% sure I am right.

I've always used a 180 and I think a 190 should also be OK.

I thought it was a cleveland for some reason. It is a 351, so it must be a Windsor. Thanks for the correction. If my boat runs at 150-160. Shouldn't I use a 145?
