Lost gas cap,

I let my buddy fill up the Supra the weekend before last and he left the cap lose and it broke the chain that kept it attached when we got under way. I am pretty sure these are standard, but wanted to double check before I ordered a stainless one off amazon.

90% sure that these are standard and 1 1/2" sounds right but maybe someone else can measure quick for you?

When I restored my boat I bought a new filler neck and cap to replace the original. The hole cut out was to big for the new setup and the bolt holes for the new one didn't have anything to grab. I thought well I'll use just the cap then because it's shiney lol. Well the new cap wouldn't screw into the original neck. They appeared to be identical but the threads were different.
