Hey guys, I'm currenlty looking to install a custom ballast system in my 91 Sunsport. I intend to have two sacs up front and two in the back. I was thinking of mounting my pumps in the storage below the passenger side two-seater. However, I'm having problems deciding where to put my thru-hull. I was thinking somewhere right around the engine compartment but I don't know how I'm going to run the hoses from there to the pumps due to the supports running underneath the floor (are these the stringer I'm thinking??) I'm guessing these are made of wood and just covered with fiberglass, would that be an accurate assuption? Would it be possible to drill a hole through one to run hoses or would that cause moisture to build up and eventually rot the wood? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks in advance
