standard tongue to swing away tongue

Has anyone ever tried to convert their standard tongue to a swing away tongue on their trailer? How hard is it to trade in a used standard tongue trailer for a swing away trailer? I would just assume make the standard tongue into a swing away.

It can be done if you have a Boatmate trailer. Boatmate makes a kit that is DOT approved to convert a non-swing tongue to a swing tongue. YOu will need someone who can weld steal, but it can be done.
