I need a cheap place to get some foam to finish my floor, anyone have any suggestions?

There is a can that they sell at the home depot called "great stuff" it has most of the same properties and will only cost you about 3.50 per can. (although you may need about 10 cans to replace all of the foam)

Home insulating contractors use the same foam. Tow your boat to their shop and have them spray the bilge, and then trim the excess.

I used 2-part urethane foam (2#/cu-ft) to fill the cavity below the floor in my boat. I ordered the foam from uscomposites.com and they shipped directly to my home. This foam expands and sets up much quicker than the canned stuff. Pretty easy to use, messy though, wear latex gloves. JK

How much did it take to do your floor?

I used 2 of the 16 lb kits (4 gallons total, 16 cu-ft). My floor change ended up requiring removal of all the foam and replacing all the stringers. If you're just adding foam to fill voids, it should take much less. Each 16lb kit should make 8 cu-ft of foam, enough to fill a 55 gallon drum. JK
