Well, it wasnt my Supra, but it was still a Supra! My wife and I went out with a buddy and his 22SSV. I towed it behind my rig to the dock and got some riding time in. Crazy though, it was 105 when we hooked the baot up, then within about 5 minutes a storm came in quick. Everybody got off the lake but we decided to put in. The storm blew over and we were the only ones left on the lake.....ahhhhh butter, and by that time it was low 90's :)

Wow! It does look like your own private lake. Beautiful pics! Love that first pic with the color of your top and how it matches the color tones of the sky and water. Looking forward to seeing your boat in live action this weekend.

Thanks man. I'm really looking forward to seeing your boat in person too. Just please inspect my boat from no closer than 10 feet. I really have a lot of buffing and finish work to do!

From the shoreline it looks like low water in a few of those lakes. Has it been dry or just my imagination? Up here there has been a lot of rain and the lake is quite high. I have to raise the dock, again... and the dock at the ramp was nearly underwater. Great pictures everyone and thanks for sharing!

Yeah, it's been a dry summer. The lake I was on was about 25 feet down. Being that the lake is 300 feet deep, it doesn't really impact things too much.

Your lake is looking great too. It seems that I remember some pictures from a few years ago where your boat just barely had enough water to float at the dock, so I'm guessing you're floating free now.

Water levels have been INSANE up here. I'm normally able to launch at my "home" ramp 60+ times/season. This year? I'm at 0. Hoping to change that today, though!

What I wouldn't give for 25-30ft water clarity. In southeast Texas the water clarity on the river we ride in is about 8" and of course there is always a friendly gator or two :)

Beaumont visibility in the air is like 1/4 mile at best every time I've been there, 8 inches of visibility water must be a "good day.". I always remember the "orange glow" driving from the airport to the hotel when we overnight there.

Are you riding in brackish water down there or are there pure fresh water places?

The only fresh water to ride at would be about an hour drive away at Toledo Bend or Sam Rayburn. The Neches river is brackish. We've had alot of rain this year though and the saltwater barrier has been open on the north end of the river so all the fresh water is flowing down and pushing the salt south. I still flush my boat everytime I get home. Don't want any of that water sitting the engine.

Any worries about water entering through the gas vent? Is there a check valve in there? I'm just asking cause I filled up with 1800lbs this week and noticed that the water was awfully close to the hole.

Yes, there is a check valve instead of just a regular vent.

Had a TON of fun yesterday!
The weather was perfect. It was in the low 90's, few clouds here and there to cool you down once in a while, pretty-much no wind at all.
The water is finally starting to warm-up, I ran my first set without my wetsuit.

I look like I'm concentrating really hard right here lol!
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e9/sydneyACE/Supras/travis21of1.jpg

Here's one of my GF, she was pretty excited about her new swimsuit. Please ignore the ugly bare-fiberglass engine-cover and throttle console falling apart... (Now you guys know why I don't post many pics of the inside of my boat.)

Couple more for now...
My mom came with us. She is an amature photographer so she always takes TONS of pictures. She has a really nice camera that will do the "rapid fire" thing and take like a bunch of pics in a row. I'm sure I will be posting some more soon. Hopefully you all don't mind if I spam some?

Here is our daughter (9 years-old). This was her very first time. I was so proud of her! She did awesome!
Got-up on her first try. She was wearing my board and popped right-out as soon as I touched the throttle.
She was watching some Nicola Butler and Amber Wing videos on YouTube and is all pumped to get into it now.
I'm thinking her and my GF can share a board, so I'm on the look-out for a good ladies board.

For those pics, it was a little more than I usually run, because I had to pick up some people at another boat and bring them back to dock. It was about 300lbs in rock bags between the front and rear, about 400-500 lbs total divided up on either side of the motor, and 9 people in the boat.

Usually I'll run the 300 lb of rock bags, and 600 pounds divided up on either side of the motor.

It is absolutely gorgeous! There are 2 good ones here that we hit all the time. This one gets a little choppy when it's windy sometimes. You wouldn't be out in-it all the time though because the water is REALLY cold until about mid-june. ;)
Last weekend was the first time I rode without my wetsuit on, and it was still a little chilly.
Would love to have some of you guys come-up and hang out with us, but all of you guys are a LONG way from us.
Here's one of the lake we took with the wide-angle lense:

Travis--looks like good times! Love your sense of humor! :-D

Kevin, thanks bud!

We have been having more fun each time we go out. Mainly because the boat has been breaking-down less and less as I get all the kinks worked-out on her. (Just replaced my battery cables with some 1-gauge welding cable so that has cured my no-start-when-hot issue.) The kids are getting more used to being on the water so that helps a lot too. My endurance while boarding is getting better... etc...

There have been a few days when my sense of humor has been tested though. Kinda frustrating to pull the thing all the way to the lake just to have it break-down on you. :(
I just have to keep reminding myself what I paid for the boat and what kind of condition it was in when I started so I don't get too discouraged.

Hope everyone has been having lots of fun so far this season! Hope to hit the water again this weekend and get some more time on the board. I would really love to do some progressing and stick some fun tricks this season!

9 people?!
Yeah, that'll do it.

Where do 9 people and ballast fit in a comp? (I'm assuming the boat in the picture is the one in question.)

Nicely done though man, that wake is nice!

I would be in photog heaven up there. Imagine a nice line of Ngavdba's, Csuggs, Hunter's, Jet's, mine, yours, etc all in a spaced out line with that for a background. PURE SEXY 8)

The rockbags go in the storage locker in t back, and the very tip of the bow. The ballast bags go on either side of the motor.

It was damn crammed, but it was just for one sesh. Currently I'm looking to get rid of the rock bags and do a auto setup to regain floor space

After cancelling riding yesterday due to rain complications, and missing this morning when crews on two boats bailed, I spent my day working on some projects and unwound with a swim and a cruise to the city for dinner. I was hoping to get a quick set in before the sun went down but it was blown out and I ran the 13 miles to the city in heavy chop.

It got dark fast on the ride back, and the tide was going out quick. After driving on the trailer, by the time I had the winch cranked down and the chain tight the bunks were dry. If I was a few minutes later I'd have been sleeping on the boat until about 3:00 when the water comes back.

Edit: Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, didn't have the regular camera handy and the boat was bouncing a rolling a lot from the rough water so that didn't help.

Yes, Philly. Looks nice lit up at night on the water. Shame to always be at the mercy of the tide, so few ramps are usable at low tide.

So, the second annual meet up in northern Michigan between the Bednar (Mapleleaf) clan and my family comprised of just Laura and myself occurred over this past weekend. Lot's of good times were had, good food, good adult beverages and great company. Sadly only one Supra was able to attend this year as the other encountered some issues from a logistical standpoint. Anyways, I took the afternoon today to edit together some of the clips we shot with my GoPro. This is the first time I have tried using the GoPro mounted in the boat so bear with me. Also, we did not even load up the ballast bags at all so the boat was set up for skiing essentially. Oh, one last mention...with how busy my year has been, I have not had time to properly detail my boat so please mind the mess...lol

Without further delay...the link...enjoy!!!

Didn't think to take many pictures, but got out today in spite of threatening winds and thunderstorms. Had a sheltered spot and rode until early afternoon when tubers realized it was going to be a nice day and made the water unsafe. Frustrating when you have young kids riding who would happily ride all day until the tank runs dry but you have to tell them to get out because it's too dangerous.

Yeah, his van looks pretty sharp pulling the matching boat and trailer.

The kids confuse me, cause they love to scream "Don't kill us! Be easy!", but after flying, tumbling, and sliding across the water, they'll all grins and want more. It's a game we play. On another note, my daughter got close to get her wake-to-wake, and my son solidified his 180. I even attempted to board. My forearms are so sore I can't grip a pen, but we all had fun.
