How do you like it?

Worth it?

My black one gets really hot and tracks black into the boat periodically

What color did you pick? Anyone use the fake teak?

Thanks,
todd

I just recently bought one. Don't peel yours off until you get the new one!! I peeled mine off over the winter and ordered it expecting it to be a 3 week process as indicated at the time. It turned into a 6 week process due to "backlog". I got frustrated with the process but got it in and put it on a week or so ago ...

With that being said, I do like it. It's a little more "cushiony" than the factory one. The install was simple. They didn't have my template so I had to make one. Can't remember if they have yours or not. Should show on the website.

They do not warranty black as a primary color. They did not do red. Therefore, the pad I wanted doesn't exist. I ordered storm gray/black. I did the new OEM design.

I don't have a picture of mine handy but Dusty got the same one I did. Here is his ....

Has anyone compared this to the price of Hydroturf?

Kg. thanks. It was dusty's pic I sent them. I have to check measurements, but I think it's exactly the same

They sent me measurements for the one in the photo, which wasn't on their site

What I meant to say is that the black one that came on the boat, the original pad is the one that gets hot

I don't think yours is the same? Does yours come to a point like that in the center? I was thinking they only made that platform for a year, maybe 2? Could be wrong.

Hyrdroturf is cheaper I do believe.

Yeah, mine comes to a point as well

Don't know if all 08 24 gravity games did, or whether the dealer
Might have swapped off another boat. He did stuff like that - could be one reason mine was the last boat he sold before closing up shop

Looks like the 24SSV series in 08 had the "pointy" platform - although all the photos I can find had a
different "pad" on them than I have. Don't think I like the orange one from the supra archives though.

Welp, I'm just wrong. Not sure where i got that idea from.

My pad looked like the one pictured there, 3 pieces.

If you want more measurements for confidence pm me your email and i can send you what i sent them ... Might be what they sent you?

We ended up lining ours up against the back step up piece for simplicity. It lined up pretty good.

Did you not like the grab rail?

What they sent me the measurements for was grey - they thought it was off an 06 24 Gravity games -

The grab rail is off on one side, because my wife gets on the hydrofoil on the platform - and then slides into the water. The handrail
would do a royal number on the aluminum t-bar of the foil ... You might even notice the small piece of "butt-trax" (gator grip) on the
edge of the platform for extra cushion. Those T-bars are over $2500, just for that part - we baby it.

The fact it was grey is disheartening as they just finished mine. I had two of them made too. Also made a fuss through email as the expectations and actual timing were not close in time as well as making a fuss on moomba where "they" responded with a long winded set of excuses. They should have a database that shoes their templates and probably should just flat out remember .... Rant over.

Handrail makes sense now. I don't blame you for babying it! Wish hydrofoils were a little cheaper to get into.

Is that the stuff that you can get to look like Faux wood? I always wondered how that turned out.

I always get Hydroturf. Super cheap, very squishy and soft, excellent traction, never tracks into the boat, and doesn't ever get hot. I mean the boat could be sitting in the sun for an hour, and I step onto it dry, and it's not hot. It's black........crazy.

I also get compliments from other boats on comfort and traction. Especially those with teak.

My wife, who - by the way, is a grandmother to 7.5, is the number 3 rated women hydrofoil women competitor ...

Oh yeah ... my wife of 31+ years is kickin some tail ... (not that everyone competes, mind you - but of those that do, she's one of the best!)
