depth finder issues

I'm having issues with my depth finder and was wondering how to test the triducer?
Or a resistance reading from the unit?
Depth finder hasn't worked for a few years now.

Go to Farai.com . They have the manuals for it and some trouble shooting info. There replacement program is top notch. I had 4 of my gauges replaced for under two bills.
