LED light bulb info wanted

I am considering changing out my interior light bulbs, to the LED type bulbs. Interior courtesy lights and NAV lights, etc. My question is---Has anyone found that there are any DIRECT replacements, without changing all the housings. My boat has interior courtesy lights that have a bulb #193---is there a better bulb replacement that anyone has had luck with? I want to use white color bulbs.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

On the older boats, it's a perko light assembly.

Here is a direct replacement with LEDs in black or white covers, with white LEDs
