Alternator

I need some help, i need to get a alternator for my 91 supra impluse? Can I get this part at autozone or auto parts store? I here the bearing whinning and don't want to get stuck.

Maybe NAPA. It must be a marine part since it has to be a marine part.Alternators and starters are some of the few "marine" parts you need to be safe on the water. Marine alternators are sealed to prevent sparks from igniting possible fuel vapor;

so if i go to napa then when they ask tell them pcm 5.7 and the year?

Yes, they should have a book they'll try to match it up with. I'm not certain all NAPA stores do marine parts, but they're the only auto parts chain that seems to do marine stuff.

Look for a local re builder in your area they will be able to repair your alt.
