Surfing the Pirata

We decided to try wakesurfing for the first time last night. Hardly anyone was at the lake, it was choppy at first, since a thunderstorm had just rolled through. But a little later is was like glass. We haven't tried adding any ballast yet. We just had three guys sitting on one side while the other surfed. It worked pretty well. I am guessing I could just put some sacs in the cuddy.

Looks like fun. I'm just starting to play with the surfwake on my Saltare (same hull, different top) & I'm learning these barges can take alot of weight & it might take some playing to get it right. Regardless, the smiles are what it's all about...
