Forget it - why is it that the Supra Forum doesn't like the URLs for Flickr? Every time I try and copy and paste a link it says - 'invalid URL'.
I can't pull the raw files without re-sizing them and re-saving because they're from my GoPro and they're 5MB.

Made it out to the Moomba/Supra Texas Jam on Saturday. I think we totalled 17 boats - mostly SC, but with an Epic, Axis, etc. scattered in the mix. Had a great time with some great folks. Wish we could have stayed, but I had 3 generations in my boat & my late 60's parents were gassed after getting their slalom runs in for the day.

The girls chillin at the raft up.

It was a little cool this afternoon and overcast. But we were about the only boat out doing anything. Couple fishing boats that was it. Lake was like butter...

Well, after a short hiatus from our boat, we left it up in Michigan between our visit with Mapleleaf and my family vacation at a lake two lakes over from his place...these are the results.

Well, I cant really contribute any boat or riding pictures this month. I recently purchased a new2me home and have been doing renovations to it and making it wheelchair friendly. So I can however post pictures of what I have been doing with it.

This is the beautiful 2800sqft, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath house I bought which sits on 1.3 acres in the historical area of downtown Monroe, NC
http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k483/wspeedin/Front.jpg
The wife and kid love it!

Here is the updated living room with a built-in bookcase on each side of the fireplace and my football season haven!
http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k483/wspeedin/TVlivingroom.jpg

The house came with a 2 car attached garage which will be my workshop. I had to install a ramp to go in the house and while I was at it I added a platform so that I can back the boat up to it and easily enter the boat for working.
http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k483/wspeedin/garageramp.jpg

And of course I had to add the board rack to keep the clutter out
http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/k483/wspeedin/boardrack.jpg

Its coming together but it has definitely taken its toll on my boat restoration this year. Hopefully, I will be able to get back to work on the Saltare soon.

Surfing and wakeboarding yesterday. For surfing, we had one person and a 3 year old on the port side, a 600 lb bag on the back seat, a 350 on the port side floor, about 200 on top of that going on top of the seat, 120 in the back corner of the storage locker, and 150 on the port side of the bow. Pocket was long and the wave was pretty good :)

Chauncey, (FoxRiverat) called me earlier in the week asking if I wanted to do some skiing this week. I agreed and we settled on riding yesterday. Due to some circumstances at work this week, I aggrivated my old arm injury and thought better of skiing with it. So I ended up driving and he did all the riding. Here's some video footage from yesterdays session.

Wife and I are on Vacation this week. We went out to Deer Creek yesterday and Alum Creek today. I couldn't believe how packed alum creek was. They have 4 different ramps with 4 loading ramps at each and they were constantly busy. I am spoiled at Deer Creek. Dont think I will go back there. Plus the smooth water at deer creek is much nicer. And then we hit something coming out of the ramp area and wounded my prop. I was wanting to get a new one anyways. Thought this was a nice view of the boat.

I tried adding 400# more to the rear surf side of mine all it did was wash out the wake.

I had more weight in the back of the boat than I did in the front. I've got a mix of Fly High and Straight Line bags I'm currently using. Eventually I'll switch to all Fly High. The layout in the those pictures was: 350lb rear locker, 400lb rear seat, 750lb on floor with 350lb on top, 400lb on front ski locker hatch/walkthrough, and 400lb in front. Plus 4 people in the boat

Lovin' that new bimini, Haugy & the new LED's are looking sharp as well. Maybe it's just the captain dressing things up a bit :p

Can't help but notice, your Salt sits a good 2-3" higher in the water than mine (the bottom of my black touches the water at rest). Guess I must have overbuilt the stringers/floor or the new interior added a lot more weight than I thought??? No wonder I haven't been able to get a decent slalom wake :(

Busted!! If you had been out with me the other night, you would have received a ticket. The DNR was checking on my lake last weekend.

I think I fail on that last dot.

They have to catch me first!!!!!! :D :D :D

Helps to also know that you have a 60 day grace period if you have to order your numbers. Which I have had to do..........as far as they know. TWR up here got their butts in hot water after all the go fast boats were getting tickets every year for not having their stickers on. Well as soon as these guys bought them, they ordered custom stickers to match their wild paint jobs. After enough guys with deep pockets made life tough for the TWR based on that, they began allowing a grace period for registration stickers. But ZERO grace period for the registration authentication sticker (year and odd colored sticker). As long as you have that at least, they'll normally just warn you around here.

I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for registration numbers. I don't want to do block, and I'm trying to figure out what font they used for "Saltare" to match them up.

I knew somebody would call me on those. :) Thanks Dad. Ha ha ha ha ha

Thanks man, I'm loving that bimini. I tried to get some pictures with the red LEDs on, but the wife was distracted.

Yeah, my Saltare had a full tank of fuel in those pictures as well. But, I will say, that if one person around 160-180lbs gets back there, the platform is almost in the water. So it doesn't take much weight to make it go down back there. In the bow I have 3 anchors each at around 20-25 hook style with 3' of chain before 150' of rope, each. Plus 4 fenders, and a battery in a battery box. So my bow has a lot of weight up in it that might be causing that.

Took my baby on a 200 mile boat trip over a long weekend with a crew from St. Louis. We left from Lake Center Marina in St. Charles, MO and cruised up the Mississippi all the way to Quincy, IL where we partook in the annual Hogback Island Party. The boat cruise up the river consisted of about 20 boats.

Here's a pic from breakfast the first morning at Cedar Hill, IL. The whole weekend is Hog themed so here I am tying my boat off with the trip mascot.

Sounds like an awesome trip Chris. Did you stay at places on the water or camp? I've been wanting to do a long trip like that for a while. I normally ride on the Delaware River in NJ, but think it would be fun to do a trip down to the Chesapeake Bay. It's about 80 miles to get to the bay... Then another 180 or so to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, though I doubt I'd want to try for that far in a 23' open bow ski boat. The Bay can be all sorts of interesting so far as weather and conditions, but there's a lot to see and do down there. I'd love to get a larger go-fast to get there in a reasonable amount of time and be able to comfortably sleep on the boat.

Must be cables, there's no bunks under it. Cables not visible due to dark backdrop. Surely there are some small holes in the cover to attach to lift points. Looks like a cool dock/deck structure though, must be some substantial steel beams under there to hold 4000 lbs 8' or so from the nearest column. Column looks small for wood, but on closer look it appears to be rusty metal. Cool dock!

Exactly how is that sunsport suspended like that? It looks like from the pics its just floating in air!

Probably supported from the lifting rings, my boat was lifted by the lifting rings numerous times by a previous owner and shows the wear around the rear lifting ring. If not the lifting rings supporting this sunsport, my second guess would be PFM.

Wotan, How do you post your pics on this forum where they are not a thumbnail, but full size?

Upload to a third party site. I use photobucket or imgur. Then use the "direct link" and put it inside of the editor with IMG tags. IE --
(IMG)http://www.imgur.com/link.to.image/jpg(/IMG)

Just replace the parantheses with brackets.

I figured you just photoshopped them out. LOL! The boat is looking good haugy.
