so i am still a newbie when it comes to engine problem diagnosis
my boat worn't turn over or even click:
yes, i am in nuetral
yes, the battery is charged
what are some areas i should check?
i believe the starter is less than two years old
what are some things i should check?
please be detailed
and yes i appreciate your input

Try moving the shifter sack and forth wile holding the key in start position.
If you can put a test light on the starter side of the solenoin have someone turn the key this will tell you if you have power that far

Neutral safety switch may be on the top of your transmission. I have an 89 Mariah and the switch was OK but my shift cable brass ends were worn,causing intermittent start problems.

Run a jumper from one terminal to the other this will bypass the switch to rule out a faulty switch.
