I was thinking of options for some easy bolt on performance. Has anyone put roller rockers on their Ford 351 PCM. Over the last couple of years they have become much more reasonable, and I have read of some fairly substantial performance increases.

you can bolt on some gt - 40 heads available at Ski Dim for about 2500.00 for a pair.

I can tell you this much I have 2 different set ups on my race cars :On my 302 based motor with GT40 heads I used 1.6 ratio roller rockers and it made 12 more HP over stock rockers they are FRP rockers.

Yeah for 2500, I think I will just grab some dart Iron Eagle heads for half the price. My question is will there be any issues using these in a marine application.

HOLY CRAP $2500!!!!!!!! i'd much rather buy some edelbrocks that have double the performance for only $1200!!!! if you look up the specs of gt-40p's they are quite pathetic for how over praised they are. ummm. just buy a $150 edelbrock performer cam and lifter kit and your performance will be so much better. stick with upgrades that are listed for good low end torque and idle as it will give you great hole shot performance and still increase top end over stock. and maybe try to find a intake manifold. i have been sorta looking and found several for only about $95 and they make a very noticeable difference. but stay away from the pathetic gt heads.

Marine:
No emission (much more upgrade freedom)
freshwater cooling (can cause iron heads to rust quicker than normal)
Boats need low end torque much more than high end hp (thats why they used the 351W so much)

there will be no problem using those on the engine. its just a stock 351W with a bigger carb put on it from PCM. thats about it.
