Hey,

Just bought my first Supra. It is a 2007 Supra Launch 22SSV Limited with 72 hours on it!

So far my only issue is with the fat sacs.... They fill up while riding and never drain 100% empty... there is about 15-20% of the water left in all 3 of them.1096510966109671096810969

Nice work... Congrats....
Your ballast filling when riding is an easy one.... Lift up the center rear cushion. Remove that little white cooler and you will see the ballast manifold. It is basically a sprinkler system like you might have at home. There is a little black switch on the three manifolds. If those switches are in the open position it will allow the system to take on water when in motion. If all three bags are filling then flip all three switches. If only two of the bags are filling switch the switch to be in the same position as the one that is not filling.
Should be a very easy fix!!!

Time to put some wheels on that trailer and pimp that ride since they look a bit corroded.

Nice looking ride. You don't see many of the 07' Limited's out there.... If you ever get sick of the brick look it looks really nice with them peeled off too.

Yeah, I am seriously considering pulling those bricks off, including the supra decal and putting the 2012 supra decal on there! Not my style.

I think all the switches are in the same off position. I think the solenoid valves are messed up though. Previous owner had it in salt water. Replacing both exhaust manifolds right now because of corrosion. FML! $3000!

Ouch... kind of wondered looking at those wheels....
The bricks will be a fun project for you. Be prepared to spend a good day heating them up and pulling them off. You will need to compound and then wax it most likely too. It will look really nice though. Looks good already though. Congrats.

Welcome to the forum . That is a sweet boat. You will learn that the ballast system is always a work in progress. My opinion is to go through your ballast system and learn where every thing is at so when you are at the lake you can make a quick fix.
Here my 2 cents I would leave the brick print that is a rare factory opition

I tied up to a boat with the same scheme on it at Brostock. I Really like it. Even took a picture of his boat. he was from KC Mo. His Supra was pimped out with Wet Sound speakers and tons of upgrades.
Congrats on you Purchase.... I say leave the bricks!

Well since the OP said it as well. I'm not a fan of the bricks. I've always hated them. I like clean uncluttered lines on a boat, not a jiggsaw puzzle.

Love the boat itself though. Congrats, welcome to the board!

Since everyone is weighing in..... I will, too. I like the bricks. It might not be "traditional" but it sure is sharp. If it were mine, I'd keep it.

Anybody know of a place I could buy an all new trailer at, for this boat?

I think the bricks look good as well...ignore these fogies are their "if it ain't got a rainbow stripe it ain't right" mentalities. Hahaha, sorry boys.

What to do? Just ride/cruise/float and forget the pointless hard work...

Take a good side profile shot of that boat, and photoshop the bricks out........wait a minute.

Best pic I could find of an all red 22ssv.

With your color scheme, it may not look right to have a black top deck then red, then black again.

Here is a picture of a Supra with the same color pattern minus the bricks. Ignore the fact that it's a 2012, just look at the colors.

Seeing this one, I say strip the bricks.

Strip the bricks! It is a unique color scheme to have, but if you want to justify it in your mind, whenever you decide to sell it might create more of a market for you to have just the red rather than the bricks. Just trying to help : )

If you strip the bricks, it will be BLACK underneath. Can you show it with black instead of red?

Im not good at this photoshop stuff, but yall make it look so easy and fun

Nice work supra addict.

I looked at a brick edition and had mixed feelings. Black being behind it is awesome! Would make it an easy choice for me. :D

i would say as always something damaged those beloved bricks beyond repair and your only option is to remove them, just my .02, anytime i get the priviledge of seeing a'80's or '90's Supra next to a later model Supra and all have been freed of their decals, I cant help but love the clean lines that tell SC's history......
LOve that '07 22ssv, I'm so sorry to hear the brick graphics got mucked after that docking incident last weekend, onshore breeze's are a bitch....
