View Full Version : Exhaust Manifold Cracked. Where to buy new one? Aftermarket exhaust?

I just found out that one of my exhaust manifolds is cracked inside between the exhaust and water jacket.

Need to replace.

Does anyone know where to buy one or both at a good price?

Any comments on aftermarket/performance manifolds and/or complete exhaust systems?

Indmar has them......decent pricing, fast shipping. I believe this is what your looking for, also how did you crack it? I know some can crack due to freezing.....or over heat, but before you install you might want to look at the reasons why it cracked.

Called Indmar. They don't sell direct.

Skidim does not look like they have them. Just bought them from local supra dealer for $900 each.

Looks like the previous owner got salt to clog the inlet fittings and they had almost no water flow

Is it possible to have those ultrasonically cleaned and then repaired?

It appears those are the fittings that are used to drain the manifolds during winterization on the cat manifolds. That would not be the reason your manifold overheated. So I would determine why it overheated and the paint peeled. what it looks like to me. If there was a crack from water left in the manifold and freezing then inadequate circulation and cooling of the manifold that could possibly be why it overheated. .02 If it was or is a salt water used boat then you had better start flushing the system after each use.

Did you have water draining into your cylinders as well if it an internal crack. Maybe you just have to buy the manifold and not the cat converter?
