Legnth of steering cable for 05 21v

Hey Guys
I am in the process of replacing my steering cable. I took the boat to the shop today to get a quote. The guy wants me to find out what length of cable to get before he takes it so its not sitting in his shop while he waits for the ordered cable to come in. I have looked all over my steering cable for lenght but all it says is " made by teleflex usa " . I have been told that the stock cable is a ssc134 18. Does anyone know if 18' is the correct legnth? I really don't want to pull the cable before ordering a new one incase I want to use the boat. I also emailed teleflex but am still waiting for a reply.
I plan on ordering the ssc154 18 if 18' is the proper length

The part number you want is SSC15420. Believe it or not it is a 20ft cable. I've replaced mine twice over the years in my 05 21v and it is very easy to do. Takes no time at all. If you decide to do it yourself and have any questions let me know.
