Hey everyone , I'm new to the site and was wondering if any of you were close to Eau Claire?
I just got into boating this year...well boat owning. Any ways I'm looking for a few answers on my launch as far as new prop and winterizing.

It is a fixer upper for sure and the prop is bent up so I'm starting there.

It has a acme 13by10.5 on it and I'm not sure if that's what I should put back on.

Nice, post some pictures if you have them. As far as the prop goes I see a lot of guys on this forum and the Moomba forum that highly recommend Nettles Props in Austin. I would call them and see what they recommend, they should be able to steer you in the right direction for what you are going to use the boat for.

Thanks Kev for the advise !! As far as posting pics I'm still working on how to get them from my IPhone to the site.

Hey -- I'm in Hudson, WI so not that far from you.

You can get that prop repaired for about $100 - $140. Sure beats the $450 that a new one will cost. They can also re-pitch when you take it in if you decide to go that route. 13x10.5 sounds like what it should be to me if you're loaded up with weight.

Hey nice. I actually plan on playing on the St. Croix next year. And yes I think there is a place to Hudson that does repair them. On the flip side I don't have a spare an I was gonna bite the bullet for a new one and repair this one for a spare.

Thats a good plan. That's exactly what I did with mine. Now I've got 2 so that I never have to miss a weekend!

My only question on the prop is could i foot behind it with a 13 by 10.5 or should I get the acme 541 that's 13 by 12 ?

That's a question for Acme. Just call them direct and they'll walk you through it. My guess is that the 541 is what you need but they are the experts.

I run the 541 in mine but I have it pitched down to 11.5.
