I have an 84 that is in the process of rebuild , from the hull up It is currently in 2 pieces with the top hanging in one shed , and the bottom in the garage. we had to replace the stringers , and floor etc. we have the stringers in place one one side , and are working on the other.
here is a pict of it in one piece

Man bro,

You HAVE been looking for a while. I dont think there were many made, but i could be wrong. Also, some people might not even know what the heck it is, it being a cruiser made by Supra. A google search yielded only one listing: an '84 in Florida. Here is the link: http://www.mindspring.com/~pattersonboat/used.html However, this listing shows that it hasnt been updated in 8 months. You'd have to call them to find out. Good luck in your search and i'll keep it in mind when i'm surfing random boat sites.

Cheers,
DKJ

Good luck with your search.

Out of the 7 that were made 6 of them had PCM 454 big block, the proto type that was built in 1983 came with a 5.0 ford engine. they were made from 1983 to 1984. They came only in blue trim and burgundy trim. only 2 of them were made with the burgundy trim, the prototpe and the one you see here from capt nick. if you have anymore questions, let ,me know

Man, you must REALLY want that boat. I agree it would be a very cool project boat.

I you want to go to the trouble, there is a way to track them down, especially considering there are only 7 of them out there. Call Supra and get the hull identification number for every one that was made.

Then start calling the Secretary of State office in every state, and ask them to search the title database for the #s. This could take some serious flirting with a secretary on your part. They can give you owner information, its a matter of public record. It may cost you though.

You can also call the license commissioner at the county courthouse in a state. This method is less likely to cost money, but i still might.

You can find one, it just depends on how bad you want it.

You might try that place in Florida again. For $12k, its probably still sitting there. Most folks wouldnt consider this to be a very desirable boat. If its been there for a year and half, they might come down some on the price.

Otherwise your gonna have to track down owners and solicit them. You've found 3 of the 7 that exist, which is pretty impressive in and of itself. 4 more to go.

Good luck,
DKJ

Only problem with that is, that they have lost all the records from back then. they have changed ownership a few times and had a fire few yrs back, so i'm out of luck there. but great idea. im stuck just searching myself. thanks for the idea and help.

If anyone else has any ideas or know where any are let me know please. thanks

The guy who owns it said would sell it to me for $24,000. It needs complete rebuild stringers up, needs new gel coat and trailer needs full restoration.

Wonder if he'd take $50,000 in a pinch..... Sorry, but that seems a tad rich for something that needs a total rebuild.

I don't think it would be worth 24,000 completely done. Did you mean 2400.00?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Even though it's 1of 8 or something like That I don't see it ever being worth that kind of money.

And the bow rails are also bent. Those would have to be custom made now. $$$$

As much of a fan of rare boats, there is no way in holy hell I would ever pay anything north of 10-12k for that boat, especially in that kind of condition. Maybe 15k if the sucker was rebuilt and IMMACULATE! And I'm talking better than factory new. It's not a SunCruiser or SeaRay cuddy cabin.

Come on haugy it's the holy grail! If this guys gets 25k for that. The guy with the sunsport skier should get 50k for his even without the ballast bags he's advertising but not including.

For that sort of coin it would be cheaper to put a custom cap on a Salty.
