Nose-in the ol' boat

Occasionally, while trying to teach someone to ski, I will get across my own wake, make some mongo waves, then one will come over the windshield and drown me like nothing else in life, about 500 gallons at once in your lap/head.

I am curious if anyone else has ever had this happen on the concorde-nosed 1988 supra Comp TS6M.

Been there and done that on a 1991 TSM, the girlfriend was not happy;-) Not sure what you do about it, I just try and stay on the throttle to keep the nose up and just take the beating, beats getting soaked anyways!

I've had that happen with my 2000 Legacy, filled the bow 3 - 4 times when I first got it. Learned real quickly to take the waves sideways, then turn to the skier once past them. Just turn it sideways to take the rollers, then go.

slow down whe turning around. Go sideways with the wake and roll with it. Or turn around slowly and wwhen the wake approches put it in reverse and rll with it.

#1 after skier falls. slow and come to stop then even kick a little reverse. Wait for rollers to pass by and then turn to get your skier and idle over.... (unless another boat is coming then it is acceptable to power turn and protect your skier)
#2 right as your are coming up on the rollers give it some throttle and throttle through them. It will lift your nose up like someone said earlier...
Etiquette will tell you to use #1.... keeps the lake or river calmer for everyone.... let alone keeps you dry...
