It is cold (28 degrees), cloudy, no one wants to drive the boat for me, frost and water all over the roads so I can't take the bike out, airplane is down for it's annual, race car is put away for the season, not enough snow on the mountain to go skiing or on the ground to get out the snowmobile ...........what the $*## good is a 4 day weekend when there is nothing to do :(

I know the feeling this time of year sucks. Well the food is pretty good.
Get to see a lot of family that I don't care for all that much.

Sounds like you need to try and shift the annual by a month or two...how close is it to being completed?

Waiting for some STC paper work on an exhaust repair, so another week or so. I almost always go flying on holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years....it is fun to have the sky to myself while everyone else is sitting around getting fat watching football.

Hope all of you have a nice Thanksgiving

At this point in time, I'd see about waiting to have the annual signed off until at least December 1st...

I am a Corrections Officer at a State Prison. Fortunately it isn't like you see on TV.

Only reason I was grumbling today is it was 69 degrees and sunny outside and I was trapped inside stuffing my fat face.

Better get out there tomorrow and burn some of those excess calories off with some knee boarding and shivering in the chilly waters.

I woke up and put a new rear window in my 48 Chevy. Then went snowboarding. Not a bad day!

Yes, good plan, sound like you know something about airplanes.

I ended up getting the bike out late in the afternoon. Sky cleared up for awhile and I got in a little triple digit time.

I might know a thing or two... I don't claim to be an expert though. Whatcha got that allows you to achieve the miracle of flight?

Classic!!! Got any pics of it? Feel free to blur out your N-number. I haven't flown a 120 or 140 yet, I got time in a 150 though amongst many other things.

Yes it is a classic. Those C130 guys think they are so hot, well they need to step up and fly a real airplane, the C140 ;)

No problem with the N-number, it is a well known airplane. It was the cover for Historic Aviation magazine last year, reproduced on large retail print, and it has been and is currently on some nationally distributed Christmas Cards. Link and picture are from this years Christmas Card. Painting was done from a picture taken here at my home by an internationally know artist and the original is hanging in a public art gallery.

One of the most fun things that has happened is that total strangers from all over the world use the N-number off the card to look up my information and then send me my own card with a nice Christmas greeting. Great way to meet new people.

You have a plane, a race car, a motorcycle, and a Supra. You're complaining? :)

Point well taken, I do have a lot to be thankful for.
