I used a pump and sucked the fluid out from the dipstick hole on my 99 launch

the very easiets thing is to buy clear tubing from home depot, and siphon it out. The clear tubing mean you can suck on it hard and still not get a mouth full of trans fluid.

toward the end, you need to hold it to the bottom.

The cheapest and easiest is to use a self priming drill pump. they are like 5$. Get some clear tubing and suck stick in in the dipstick hole. Make sure you refill it with the correct oil.
