Corrections Officer for the last 19 years. The first 18 years it was a womens prison. I worked third shift for 15 years straight. Then a year ago, they decided it would be a good idea to switch us to a mens prison. And so at the same time I switched to first shift. I had been waiting for a first shift job with weekends off for years. Finally got it.

Quite a change for me, went from dealing with women and hardly seeing them, to having to deal with male inmates and in close contact with them all day long. And they aren't all nice guys. But I have enjoyed the change.

I also own and operate a horse boarding business, my daughter has taken over much of the day to day operation since I have went to first shift. She is 19 now, and loves the horses. She shows cutting horses and competes on a national level. The last 7 years I have hauled her all over the country for competitions. We currently have about 30 horses in the barn.

I also bale hay all summer long to help keep expenses down.

And I am a horse show videographer. The association requires all approved competitions to be video taped. So I get paid to video shows that my daughter competes in.

And while I have enjoyed going to the shows with my daughter I realized last year that I could still have fun, and that was when I decided to buy a boat and start having fun myself.

Service Tech's are not very common. The complany I work for has about 55 statewide. The Wireless Industry however, is a BOOMING maket! I would not be afraid to invest.
