Along with a long list of things to fix/replace I noticed that my back motor mount bushing are cracking/dry rotting. I looked up the rubber bushing, and they are cheap.....but I can't imagine they would be to easy to replace with the motor still in place, and I have NO plans of moving the beast. Anyone replaced a set before while the motor is in place? Thanks for the heads up ladies! (1986-Sunsport, 351 PCM).

It takes about an hour to do one withe the majority of time supporting that side of the tranny mount. At least on my 09 supra that is. Not sure if it is the same type of mount as an 86. Here is the how to link

You do not have to remove the motor completely, but you would need to disconnect the prop shaft and support the transmission from overhead with a chain hoist from a rafter, while leaving the forward mounts in place. I replaced mine while the motor was out.
