Mr. Clean Magic eraser might work? Have you tried that yet? And while I'd never normally recommend this, some Soft Scrub might help. Both of those are very abrasive and do not ever need to be used under normal circumstances. But for permanent marker, you might want to try it.

This has been an entertaining thread. I saw this playing out in real time... "Ngavdba is being funny... Haugy is being, oh wait, Haugy missed the point that this is real, but Ngavdba hasn't caught the fact that Haugy missed it yet. Hmm, I'm going to post a simple comment and see if I can get these two stirred up." It worked!

I too have been entertained. Will post pictures along the way and as completed.
Interior is going to carry the heritage of 'original' but with slight improvements in form and function. Following the overall theme of the boat - we'll call it 'restomod'.
Color palette is sort of - different blue / no black.
