tower v. pole

what are the bennys of a tower over a pole. I have a custom built stainless pole on my 90 sunsport that seems to be fine it is tight and mounts secure to the exsisting pole with the same height as most racks. should I change just for looks as a tower does look more modern but is more trouble to store

Can't speak for the pole but I had installed a Monster Tower on my '90 Sunsport Classic and not only did it look great, but it performed great too! I kept the boat in the garage and easily folded and unfolded the tower (in about 30 seconds) with each trip to the lake. The board racks stored the wakeboards up and out of the way.
