Fuel tank vent

Anyone have a magic cure for the fuel vent leaking? If I fill the tank up just a bit too much (not hard to do) mine ends up venting gas when the fuel expand in the heat.

It goes in the line between the tank and vent outlet. It lets fumes out, but not fuel.

Thanks. I had thought about this option. Did not want to overstress other components, but I guess it will just go back up the goose neck.
