Ok crew, it is now 2013 and it is time to start thinking about the 3rd annual Texas Moomba/Supra Jam. This will be a poll to try and find the most inclusive weekend for everyone. We have one weekend possibility in June, July, and August to choose from so hopefully we can find the one that works for everyone. If you have no intent on attending please do not vote in the poll. Thanks and we hope to see yall in 2013!

The Poll will only be open for 30 days so get your votes in quick!

This is an awesome place and we had a BLAST last year. Seem like when pics were posted several Supra forum members commented on not knowing about it, start planning now to be there!

Agreed - had a great time last year. Something for everyone. I brought late 60's parents and two barely teens up for the day & all had fun, but there were rockin' stereos, jello shots, and late night shenanigans (ole blue anyone?) if you really wanted to party. A great group with a shared interest in cool boats and watersports. I was the only "old school" Supra, but everyone was inclusive, respectful, & no ego's. Plus, the location on the Trinity River was awesome.

I'll postpone my vote until I can check the family calendar - planning that far in advance is challenging with two teen daughters (one college bound), but will make it again for sure if at all possible...

I'm not sure if I am comfortable with you posting this many pictures of me. Even though I "threw a fit" last year, can't wait until the next one. :)

It's on the trinity river which feeds lake Livingston.

Like KevKev said, it is in Riverside, TX about 15 miles east of Huntsville on the Trinity River just north of Lake Livingston. We hold the event at Bethy Creek Resort. You can check out their website at www.bethycreek.com

I would enjoy a weekend with fellow Supra owners and meet the faces of this site but that would be a haul for me. Google maps has got me at 408 miles, in current traffic 6 hours and 19 minutes. Due to the fact I have a bachelor party to throw in Sept. I think it will be hard to convince the wife to spend that kind of money in gas for a weekend on the lake.

Those of you who are voting, please post your alternate choice. If there is a date you cannot make at all, please post that as well.

Anybody with questions about the event I'd be happy to share any info I could that would make you come! The location and water can't be beat, it's right at a 250 mile pull for me and if it falls in August we won't miss it!

We almost bought a house in Westwood shores. The realtor office there is decorated in pictures of gators people caught in the small ponds throughout the neighborhood. None 14 ft though haha.

They are pretty much harmless though and more of a novelty. We passed a pretty good sized one that was dead this summer. It's back looked like it was struck by a boat
