Yes I am a total rookie. Where is the bildge pump located on an 89 supra. Is there 2? Because there are 2 toggles but water only comes out when 1 is pushed. Could 1 be out? Thank you very much

The bilge pump is located under the inspection port just to the left of the driver's seat. One pump 2 switchs, the second switch is for an auxillary pump if you put another one in.

I have an '89 comp as well. they way mine is set up is one switch is to turn the pump on manually, the second switch is for an auto setting, that way if you leave the boat in the water over a period of time, if water rises, the pump comes on automatically. Keep in mind you will need a pump that has a float built in, or you can buy a float to attach to you pump.

just an Fyi.. another thing to keep in mind, if on an auto setting (with a float).. make sure the float doesn't stick. It'll burn out the pump and you'll be heading to the store to buy a new one.
